History

'Rudy Ludy' was founded by Claire Ludeman in London in 2005. The name came from a nickname given to Claire because of her surname. Originally consisting of womens t-shirts and tank tops, decorated with applique designs, hand painted artwork, screenprinting and transfers and embellished with metallic foil effects, studs and diamante.

Sold at the world famous Portobello Market in West London's Notting Hill, various music festivals and through an older version of this website. Claire met her future husband in Thailand in 2007 and soon after moved to Chicago to be with him. After concentrating on Graphic Design freelance work for the last few years Claire is now relaunching Rudy Ludy to an American market. A baby on the way and love of home decor has inspired new lines which will be available soon. Claire is also available for freelance Graphic and Web Design assignments. Her portfolio is available to view at: http://www.claireludeman.com.
